The project "Study for Obtaining High Protection Non-Nanoparticulate Mineral Sunscreens with Active Substance Carrier Capacity" focuses on the research and development of mineral sunscreens based on zinc oxide.
- Project Description- The main objective of the project was to obtain mineral ZnO sun filters with a particle size greater than 100 nm, capable of providing high protection against UV-A, UV-B, visible and infrared radiation, being stable in different phases and with the capacity to transport antioxidants.
- Thematic Scope- The project is part of the research and development of cosmetic products, specifically in the area of photoprotection.
- Budget and Investment- The total budget of the project is €400,819.00. The project received a partially reimbursable grant from the CDTI (Centre for Technological Development and Innovation) for a value of up to €340,696.15, representing 85% of the total budget. This grant is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF 2021-2027).
